Country Operations Manager – Mexico 

  • Guadalajara, Mexico | Onsite 
  • Team size: ~80 employees (growth capped at 100) 

How will you make an impact?
As the Country Operations Manager, you will be the onsite leader for our Guadalajara operation, owning the day-to-day performance and operational health of a team of approximately 80 employees, with growth capped at 100. 

You’ll maintain a visible presence, set clear expectations, and partner closely with U.S. leaders and our local operations vendor to ensure consistent execution and alignment with company standards. 

Your leadership will directly impact productivity, engagement, retention, and operational efficiency, ensuring the site remains stable, well-run, and trusted. 


What will you do?

  • Maintain a strong daily presence on the floor to ensure operational metrics are met and processes run efficiently 
  • Develop a deep understanding of site workflows to identify gaps and improve productivity and efficiency 
  • Build and sustain a professional, collaborative, and accountable onsite culture aligned with company values 
  • Support employee development, leadership visibility, and engagement through consistent coaching and communication 
  • Partner on recruiting and retention efforts to ensure talent aligns with operational needs 
  • Oversee onboarding, timekeeping, attendance, and proactive overtime management in coordination with team leads and U.S. managers 
  • Partner with U.S. executives on regular operational and workforce reviews, surfacing risks, trends, and improvement opportunities 
  • Manage local spend related to site needs, amenities, and events with fiscal discipline 
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve

How will you get here?
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered 
  • 5+ years in an operations or site leadership role, ideally in a nearshore or outsourced environment 
  • Experience leading teams of ~40–120 employees in a hands-on, onsite capacity 
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams and U.S.-based stakeholders 
  • Ownership of site-level operations, including productivity, attendance, and performance accountability 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) 
  • Strong, professional leadership presence with the ability to set and enforce standards 
  • Hands-on, accountable management style with consistent follow-through 
  • Clear, effective communicator with sound judgment in conflict situations 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently 
  • Comfortable leading through influence rather than hierarchy 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic timekeeping or workforce tools
