How will you make an impact?
TSS’ Supply Chain is a critical Operations enabling Organization that ensures the smooth flow of procured material and services to the field, who support our customer base performing lifesaving and life-changing work. As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will focus on vendor management to create cost savings and leverage expertise in sourcing to provide support for alternative vendor sourcing.
Therefore, the ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, self-directed, and a strong team player with experience in developing vendor relationships and implementing alternative sourcing strategies.
What will you do?
Procurement & Purchasing
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts.
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
- Develop and implement Sourcing Strategies for the main categories of spend.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Savings, Cost Avoidance, and lead time.
- Use Microsoft Dynamics to analyze performance and generate reports.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure supply chain activities comply with company policies, laws, and ethical standards.
- Mitigate supply risks by developing contingency and sourcing plans.
- Expand and implement policies and processes in alignment with company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals
Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams.
- Communicate updates to management and stakeholders regarding supply chain performance.
- Provide leadership and procurement guidance to Purchasing team

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $75,000- $100,000 annually
(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.) - Medical, vision, and dental insurance

How will you get here?
Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree
- Recommended 5 years of purchasing and/or supply management experience
- Experience with purchasing in an ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
- A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning
- Knowledge of sourcing methods, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
- Understanding of metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
- Anticipate long-term needs and align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Build and sustain productive partnerships with suppliers and service providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment, and productivity when working with cross-functional teams and customers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn
- Ability to identify and drive improvements to operations and processes.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision by employing effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
